Responsibilities:
-Design and build Flash prototypes to mimic rich internet applications for client presentations
-Work closely with engineers to develop the final Rich Internet Applications
-Translate customer requirements into visual and functioning innovative design solutions
-Create flow charts of user experiences, data visualization, sketching (story boarding, user scenarios, wireframing, rough layouts, mock- ups), and user interaction designs
-Lead prototyping of screen development with an emphasis on visual layouts, typography, and user interaction elements
-Play an active role in all aspects of the design process including identification of user needs, requirements of definitions, storyboarding and prototyping, and interactive end user validation
-Help lead internal branding efforts and development of printed corporate communication materials
-Engage collaboratively and flexibly with design Lead and team members
-Collaborate with engineers to translate design solutions into working Rich Internet Applications
Skills needed for Success:
-Proven track record of success with interactive media prototyping tools (Photoshop and Flash)
-Strong creativity and conceptual skills with an original design sensibility and solid typographic skills
-Ability to innovate - create designs outside existing standards and norms
-Graphic Design or UI degree or equivalent experience
-Industry experience in web and/or application design (design agency experience a plus)
-Passion for building ground breaking user experiences
-Strong verbal skills with ability to communicate rational behind your concepts
-Highly self-motivated, independent and responsible
-Organized, efficient and articulate, with strong writing skills and an eye for detail
-Able to successfully deliver on aggressive timelines and work in an environment where agility is valued and change is embraced.
