1. Intern Student (Java Development) (OJP Ref : GC0202731)

Job Summary

We are looking for highly motivated and dedicated intern student to work in the
Java 2 Standard Edition (J2SE) Engineering team to develop cutting-edge Java deployment and desktop components in JDK
 

Job Description

Intern student focusing on development and support of the next generation of the Java Deployment and Desktop technologies including Java Plug-in (JPI), Java Web Start and JDesktop Integration Components (JDIC) for the Java 2 Standard Edition releases (JDK).


SKILLS REQUIRED

- Strong Java, C++, C programming/debugging skills
- Thorough understanding of desktop technologies
- Multi-platform development experience on Solaris, Linux, and Windows
- Knowledge of web technologies javascript, Mozilla, Internet Explorer, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, Security, XML


QUALIFICATIONS

College student in Computer Science or related field with excellent software development and English communication skills.

2. Software QE Intern (OJP Ref : GC0203241)

Job Summary

This intern will work on Solaris x86 driver testing.
Responsibilities could span across an end-to-end testing cycle
including test design, requirement collection, test development, resource planning, test execution, issue tracking, result reporting.

Job Requirements:
- Be familiar w/ Linux and/or UNIX environment
- Have good knowledge on computer system hardware architecture and hands-on experience with assembling a computer system
- Be able to take initiative and demonstrate problem solving skills
- Good communication skills in both Chinese & English
- Demonstrate a high sense of responsibility and work ethic
- Hands-on programming experience with C & Shell
- Preferrably majored in C.S.or E.E
- Estimated required working hours: 30+ hours per week (doesn\'t have to be within normal working hours.)

3. Student Intern(OJP GC0203240)

Job Summary

Assist GPE/EA engineers to engage volumn partners/ISV(Independent Software Vendor) in PRC for adopting Sun\'s products/technologies.

Job Description

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
------------------------------------
  - Assist in technical/marketing event for volume partners.
  - Outreach and engage the local ISV(Independent Software Vendor) community to push and
help them to use Sun\'s platform.
  - Customer experience survey.
  - Track status and progress of the volume partner.
  - Assist in GPE/EA website mantainance

Qualifications:
--------------
  - Excellent communication skills in Mandarin
  - Good command of English in writing,reading and speaking
  - Experiences on marketing operations is a big advantage for this postion
  - At least be able to work in the Sun Beijing office for 1 year(3 days per week)
  - Familiar with technical terms of computer science.
  - Major in Computer Engineering/Science preferred
