Position: software engineer intern. 
 
Responsibilities
As software engineer or senior software engineer you will be working with audi
o software team to develop audio codec as well as real-time system for DSP. Yo
u will be responsible for,
1. Understand audio codec specification and reference code. Generate software 
requirements.
2. Define software architecture as well as detail design on target processor. 
Generate and maintain design document.
3. Program the target processor in both C and assembly language. Use profile t
ools to identify MIPS intensive algorithm and optimize accordingly.
4. Generate test procedures and cases. Carry out audio codec testing.
5. Integration of codecs into real-time DSP system.
 
Requirements:
1. Have good C language programming skill.
2. Familiar with assembly programming skill. Understand C-ASM mixed programmin
g skill.
3. Have good knowledge of audio encoding and decoding technology. WMA, and AAC
 preferred.
4. Have strong mathematic or physics background. Have deep understanding of au
dio/video processing algorithm.
5. Have strong knowledge of RTOS, Linux, WinCE
6. Have experience of optimizing audio encoder or decoder, WMA, and AAC prefer
red.
7. Understand basic software development process. 
8. Can read/write English document smoothly. 
9. Good communication skill and teamwork
