职位描述： COMPANY DESCRIPTION Our client is a leading multinational furniture importer. The company has a target focus on contemporary furniture for the bedroom, dining and living rooms. It has 23 stores and over 400 employees. Our client is aggressively growing with an ambition to open 8 new stores in the next 12 months. They are supported by equally dynamic marketing on radio, TV and newspapers. Presently the company sources product globally but intends to broaden its capacity from the PRC. As well as China, the company also purchases from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Brazil, Colombia, Spain and the USA. THE ROLE Based in Shenzhen, the Manager will be responsible for: Contributing as a key member of the team in the PRC. Establish sourcing, quality control, logistics, etc. regimes for the company. Developing new systems or improve existing ones related to manufacturing to enhance efficiency and quality of suppliers. Locating manufacturers of furniture for the client design. Coordinating market research on products and pricing. Monitoring accuracy of production planning, delivery schedules confirmation, loading forecasts and inventory controls. Overseeing that manufacturing processes and other supporting systems comply with quality control procedures of the company or customers. Managing suppliers to maintain a safe, secure and clean working environment that could meet the company and customers regulations. Obtaining the required regulatory approvals for products by the suppliers. Working closely with sales and suppliers to adjust production schedule and manpower planning. REQUIREMENTS Experience in working for a multinational company. Knowledge of Quality Control. Good command written & spoken of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Initiative and willingness to operate with a high degree of independence. Willing to travel regionally and internationally. Strong negotiation, influencing and organization skills. Proactive. Proficient IT systems knowledge. Pluses Background in furniture, furnishings, apparel or costume business. To have furniture factories contacts in China. Foreign educated or having worked in the west. Experience in SAP systems will be preferred. Attractive remuneration package and flexible working hours will be offered to the right candidate.
