Bechtel, an American Engineering & Construction Company, which has celebrated its 100 years in 1998, has worked on more than 19000 projects in 140 countries on all seven continents. Bechtel-CITIC Engineering Inc (BCEI) is the joint venture between Bechtel and China International Trust & Investment which registered in 1984 in Shenzhen. The shares are 50% to 50% for each.
Now BCEI is seeking engineers for the design and construction of a grass-roots petrochemical production project. The project is in the Guangdong Province, on the north coast of Daya Bay, at the Donglian Harbor site. The facility will be an integrated chemical complex including steam and electricity generation, other utility provisions, effluent treatment, storage, handling and shipping facilities. The heart of the complex is a naphtha cracker producing 800, 000 tps ethylene and 430, 000 tpa propylene. It also includes 9 other process units producing products such as ethylene oxides and propylene oxides, polyethylenes and polypropythlenes, glycols, styrene, polyols, benzene and butadiene.
Those hired will initially work in Beijing until the project locates to the field in Jan-Feb, 2003. We will provide competitive offer plus incentive, living allowance and leaves.
