Job Description

Job Title: Application Engineer

Location: Chengdu/Wuhan

Job Functions:
Delivers technical expertise for test solution implementation to customers in
semiconductor and flat panel display industry.  Actively contributes in variou
s phases of the sales process from deal qualification to deal closure. Major r
esponsibilities includes, but not limited to, project requirements analysis, p
roduct demonstrations, benchmarks, competitive positioning, and implementation
/execution, generally allocated by project and engineering services.  Analyzes
 customer requirements, recommends appropriate solution, and ensures customer
satisfaction.  Integrates Agilent products (namely Agilent 4070/88000 series t
est system) and services, at the system/solutions level, into customer’s envi
ronment.  Ensures the product functions as per specifications.  Delivers custo
mer training classes and consulting related to our application, as well as ass
ist in pre-sales, as part of their tasks.  Contributes to sales account planni
ng.  Acts as the customer voice to influence future product design that meets customer needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:
 Master degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related discip
lines. Fresh graduates are welcome.
 Knowledge in semiconductor device physics and process technology is h
ighly desirable.
 Knowledge in UNIX operating system, C/Visual Basic/BASIC programming
languages is desirable.
 Experience in semiconductor parameter analyzers (e.g. HP 4145, Agilen
t 4155/6, S4200) or other measurement instruments such as oscilloscope, LCR me
ter, etc., would be added advantage.
 Dynamic, sociable, proactive and self-motivated personality with team
 spirit is desirable.
 Willing to travel for business purpose.
