In the year 2004, the world first mass production model of 86xx series WM9 Network HD-DVD Player(VC-1) were shipped to Asian market by ST4M(Total Shipment up to 200,000pcs until 2005). With the capability to play back the HDTV bit stream up to 20Mbits/sec and resolution up to 720P and 1080i DVI. (Native Mode)
In the year 2005, ST4M released the first 3-in-1(IPTV High Definition Video, VoIP and Internet) IPTV Set-Top-Box with Linux base embedded middleware solution. The new 9000 series even build-in an 500Mhz RISC co-processor which make the internet browser faster than an 1.5Ghz Windows base PC and allowed the VoIP and IPTV continue running sumptuously.
