1. Research, develop, and improve video and audio algorithm, standards: H.264, MPEG4, MPEG2, MP3, AC-3, etc.
2. Implement and optimize video & audio software coder and decoder on DSP.
3. Participate in requirement analysis, design, code, test, document writing and version control.
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master Degree of EE, CS
1+ year's solid experience of video or audio algorithm development on DSP
Be familiar with one or more DSP cores (TI, LSI, ADI) and instruction set
Be good at software optimization
Be familiar with C
Knowledge of video & audio standards,such as H.264/MPEG4/MPEG2 or MP3/AC-3,is a plus.
One or more detailed implementation experience of below technologies is a big plus:
*Motion estimation/motion compensation or intra frame estimation
*Frequency domain transformation: DCT/FFT/wavelet
*Huffman coding or arithmetic coding
*Preprocessing and post processing (de-interlace, resample, loop filter, etc)
*Color space conversion, quantization, zigzag, interpolation, mpeg data structure, etc
*Mpeg system layer, mpeg bit stream semantic, and file format.
*Be good at English reading

1.This position will be responsible for leading a team to develop, analyze, and evaluate DSP core in our digital audio-visual products
2.2+ years experience with embedded software development environment.
3.Solid experience in developing, designing, coding, and debugging DSP algorithms in C/C++ and assembly languages
4.Familiar with at least one DSP core instruction set and software optimization based on the instruction set
5.Familiar with Unix, Linux, and Windows platform
6.Excellent document writing and organization skill
7.Familiar with source version control system and bug tracking system
8.Familiarity with industry standards (H.264, MPEG2, MPEG4) is a plus
9.Experience with real-time application programming is a plus
10.Experience of coder & decoder, one or more detailed implementation experience of below items is a big plus:
