OBJECTIVE
The objectives of the programme are:
1)To attract young, talented professionals to Jones Lang LaSalle
2)To build a talent/leadership pipeline for the organisation
3)To provide the opportunity for individuals to build long term careers within the firm


THE APPROACH

Management Trainees will be recruited from premier schools around the region.
 These will be individuals who have successfully completed a bachelor or masters programme and been awarded the formal ademic qualification commensurate with that program of study.  These will be individuals with prior work or internship  experience, within or outside the real estate industry and hired for a management potential role within a specific department.


SELECTION METHODOLOGY

The selection process begins with the screening of applications received from candidates.  A standardised set of screening criteria will be utilised to eliminate bias and ensure consistency.  These include
a)  Good academic results based on home country examinations and standards.
b)  Verbal and numerical ability tests conducted on line.
c)  Leadership and teamwork as demonstrated by the extent of curricular activities, voluntary work, and committee work undertaken during secondary / high school and university, as well as work experience during vacations.

Selection will involve a combination of paper/online test and at least 2 rounds of interviews (with HR and senior leadership of the Firm).

The performance of the candidate at each stage of the process will contribute to his/her selection into the programme.
