Function description:
昉erforming a leading role for Company in tracking and assessing technology in standardization activities in China and defending the interests of Company's IP&S in a balanced way with the interests of the Company's product divisions.
旴uilding an excellent network with the key people of the Company's PDs, Company's Research and PDSL in China, as well with the key people on standardization in Company's worldwide.
昉roviding a contact window for Company's IP&S and Research with Chinese standardization authorities. Establishing a good relationship with key people in MII, SAC, China Electronics Standardization Institute and China Intellectual Property and Copyright Commission.
旾nvesting or co-investing in R&D projects in consultation with Frans Vreeswijk in China (in and/or out Company) to influence standards which have a high chance in pay-back in the form of future royalties for Company's.
旹stablish a good long-term relationship with Chinese authorities and improve Company's brand image in the IP&S field.
旹ducate Chinese industry for the value of IPR via influence of Chinese authorities.
旽elp to establish joint patent pool system with Chinese authorities to realize our IP value via partnership.
旸evelop knowledge and expertise in Company's (KPENV) IP portfolio which are affected by Chinese standards.
旾dentify and quantify the business/financial impact of China standards in coordination with Company's PDs/Bus.
旹stablish long term technology cooperation to ensure our technical position in future Chinese standards
昐trengthen our technology position in world market by leverage on Chinese manufacturing capabilities.
旹stablish basic standards expertise in the IP&S office in Shanghai.
Specific Skills/experiences:
昐trong technical background, Excellent communication and people skills
旼ood business sense; Good spoken and writing in English and Chinese;
