Shanghai Tengchen Medical Tech-Info Co., Ltd. (for short: TCSoft), founded in 1998, is dedicated to provide clinical diagnosis lab accounts with lab information software application & extended consultancy service of software-based lab workflow improvement. Our customers in mainland China and South East Asia are mostly hospital pathology clinical diagnostic laboratories and commercial laboratories.

Do you have excellent technical and communication skills? Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding team-based work environment? We are looking for an enthusiastic new graduate interested in making a difference in people lives to join our company’s technical publication department. This person will be responsible for software customer documents creation and translation. The position requires senior-level writing skills with which the writer can write, edit and revise operations manuals, reference materials, help files, training material, and other instructional materials. In addition, this person must have excellent grammar, editing, organizational and written and verbal communication skills, and will work with subject matter experts from a variety of disciplines to develop useful and usable content and ensure that documents are technically accurate, and user-focused. The position requires the person who is able to prioritize multiple tasks, handle conflicting requests effectively, and maintain a positive attitude, while working with minimal supervision.

Job Title: COLLEGE RECRUIT – Technical Writer (Translator)

Employment Status: Full-Time Intern OR Part-Time (at least 3 times on duty per week)

Responsibilities:

 Provide translation and QC review of technical and customer documents
 Work with software R&D team through product design, code & test phase to create the customer documents, Online Help, .training materials and other instructional documentation
 Maintain the right documents versions corresponding with multiple software build versions
 Conduct software training program for internal staff

Qualifications:

 BS or BA degree from an accredited 4-year college or university. Undergraduate or graduate in the following are preferred: English (non-literature), Computer Science and Engineering related discipline.
 Familiarity with software lifecycle (requirements, design, code, test) is preferred
 High proficiency in English language is preferred; holding the CET 6 certificate is required; holding TEM 8 is preferred.
 Effective Communicator - Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with management/peers to achieve results; excellent written & oral communication skills.
 Familiar with MS Office package (WORD, EXCEL & POWERPOINT)
 Continuous Learner - Seeks out challenges/stretch goals to improve skills.
 Results Focused - Demonstrates ability to overcome obstacles to complete individual/team goals; readily to revolve issues independently.
 Creative Thinker - Understands team goals & values and generates new ideas to contribute to the success of the team.
