Do you want to work with and develop leading-edge 3G wireless technology? Agilent Technologies Software Company is where you will work with talented engineers from around the world developing Agilent's industry-leading wireless testing solutions. Our Wireless Test Set helps mobile phone developers shorten their design cycle and reduces mobile phone manufactures cost of test by providing a single instrument that both acts as the wireless network and measures the mobile's RF performance.
As a member of the Agilent's China Communication Operation you will be working in a multicultural team to deliver instruments to test the latest 3G mobiles. Training can be tailored speed up your career according to your experience, skills and interests. As a Software Test Engineer on the product development team you will develop and execute the test programs and test suites to ensure the software product meets customer needs with very high quality. Specifically you will:
- Take the product definition documents and develop the tests, include test cases, test scripts and test suites, to verify the product functionality and performance.
- Execute the test suites and perform system level system.
- Find and isolate the defects and find the replicate procedures and root causes.
- Log the defects and write the test reports.
- Enhance the test tools/processes to increase the test productivity and product quality
You'll possess a Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Wireless Telecommunication, Computer Science or equivalent disciplines with sufficient and relevant experience. A bachelor degree with extensive experience is acceptable. Additionally you should have the following knowledge and experience:
- Software development and test process knowledge
- Experience deriving and developing tests from product definitions
- Experience working with diverse development teams.
- Good programming skill in C/C++, and scripts language.
- Wireless technologies, instrument operation, and GPIB programming are preferred.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Good teamwork.
