Overview
A world-class Finance organization is looking to enhance its Professional Fina
nce and Accounting organization.  Freescale Semiconductor (FSL) is the 3rd lar
gest semiconductor firm based in the United States.  A new addition to the NYS
E and the Fortune 500, it spun off from Motorola in December of 2004.  Our com
pany is looking to hire world class individuals capable to provide premier fin
ancial services that positively impact shareholder value.


Responsibilities
Reporting to the AsiaPac Business Controller, the person in this role will be 
responsible for business support and control in AsiaPac including:
•   Preparation of strategic and tactical business budget/forecasts for 
operational control 
•   Provide key financial information to MBU to facilitate resource util
ization for profitability (Cost Model Data, Customer/Product Profitability, Sh
rink/Yield Prioritization) 
•   Create models to analyze product, customer and technology performanc
e 
•   Participate in New Product Introduction process (investment analysis
) 
•   Lead cost reduction teams and initiatives 
•   Month-end variation analysis (sales, expense, unit cost, demand, etc
) 
•   Metrics/cycle time/quality (scrap) reporting 
•   Cost reduction analysis reporting 
•   Product margin analysis reporting 
•   Establish a high quality and robust internal control environment wit
h risk assessment to identify internal control weaknesses for continual improv
ement, and liaise with internal clients to formulate and execute action plans.

•   Manage and co-ordinate quarterly SOX 404 compliance with internal gl
obal team and external auditor
•   Occasional travel outside China to  perform internal control review 
engagements are required


Requirements
Suitable candidates should possess:
•   Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferable with MBA qua
lification.
•   1-2 years working experience with solid experience in business analy
sis and manufacturing industry.
•   Strong issue identification/analysis and problem-solving skills.
•   Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•   Proficiency in written and spoken English.
