职位描述：
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As part of SAP's Strategic Research and Development Team, User Interface designer works on business process analysis, system prototype mock-up and user interface implementation.
User Interface Design is central to software development. Today's users expect applications which are oriented to their needs and make it easy for them to carry out their tasks. This demanding requirement can only be fulfilled by specialists who understand users, their tasks, and the underlying technology. As an user interface designer you work closely with Solution Management and Development to enable users to do business in the most effective and efficient manner.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Educational background in either (Media-)Design, Software Development, Information Architecture, Human Factors (Psychology).
Knowledge of HTML and a graphics package, for example, Photoshop, etc.
Knowledge of at least one programming language would be an advantage.
Working independently though a strong team-player.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Gathering end-user requirements by organization, execution, moderation of end user site visits and user days, including collection/consolidation of results.
Facilitate design sessions with involved teams.
Development of user interface designs, using various prototyping techniques.
General verification of designs through reviews, validations, and formal usability testing.
General design support and consultation for the development teams.

Founded in 1997, SAP Development Center China was later officially established as SAP Labs China on November 20, 2003. As one of the eight SAP global Research and Development Centers , it plays a key role in design and development, as well as leading products delivery for global, Asia Pacific and China markets. SAP Labs China provides end-to-end product development, specifically focusing on small and mid-size businesses, financial and human resource management and Netweaver development.
As a strategic R&D center, SAP Labs China has become one of the fastest growing subsidiaries of SAP. Within 2004 alone, employee growth rate doubled. By October 2005, SAP Labs China became the fifth SAP R&D center with over 450 employees. With the construction of the new campus located in Shanghai Pudong Software Park , SAP Labs China has further strengthened its commitment to the regional and local market, while maintaining a high-speed growth rate. It also plans to increase the employee staff to 1500 by 2008 and sustain its position as a world-class R&D center. |
