Title: Parallel Computing/Workload Analysis Research Scientist

Business Group Overview 
The mission of the Corporate Technology Group is to drive Intel's technology 
leadership.  This includes coordinating research and development among 
several business groups and aligning Intel's strategies and technologies 
with industry needs.  The goal is to accelerate the convergence of 
computing and communications.

Job description: 
Responsible for conducting parallel computing and workload analysis 
research for emerging mass-market applications such as video retrieval and 
mining, text mining, data mining etc. which is highly relevant to Intel 
platform and future multi-core architectures.

Research/engineering experience and achievements in at least one of below 
specific research areas are needed.
Parallel computing
Computer architecture
Compiler
Application/Workload and/or algorithm optimization 
Workload characterization

Other requirements:  
Master Degree and above. 
Proved record in conducting challenging research tasks (publications) are 
preferred.
