Job Description:
Research Assistant for Personal Emergency Response System Project (Intern)

Apply your research knowledge on pattern recognition and signal processing to 
sensor data analysis and activity recognition. Implement and test algorithms i
n programming languages, such as Matlab and Visual C++. 

Work with research scientists according to plan and report the result in a goo
d written way.

Build up, test and improve the prototype system.

Requirements
Excellent programming experience of Matlab (must have project experience), inc
luding GUI designing (data processing through GUI interaction) and using the t
oolboxes of pattern recognition, signal processing and wavelet.
Good programming experience of Visual C++.
Good knowledge of biomedical signal processing and pattern recognition.
Excellent communication skills. English language skills to at least CET level 
6.

Work time requirement: At least four working days per week until May 2007.
