Job Title/Position: Application Engineer 
Place: Shanghai                             
The Home Video Division of STMicroelectronics, the #1 semiconductor provider w
orldwide in Digital Consumer, has built up a Digital TV Development Laboratory
 in Shanghai in the past 3 years. There are many STJU graduates in the Lab. We
 focus on Digital TV middleware development and our next generation chipset so
ftware development targeting US, Chinese and European markets. 

We planed to hire 5 application engineers. 4 have been hired from SJTU and onl
y 1 opening left. We want to quickly make decision to hire 1 more in this week
. New graduate with Master degree in March, 2007 in software or computer engin

You will work with other software developers to quickly provide a lot of high 
quality software modules for our next generation DTV chipset in close collabor
ation with other application labs in France and other countries. 

Requirements: 
Technical Experience in: 
•RTOS (Linux a plus) 
•Embedded S/W (TV expertise a plus) 
•DTV project experience preferred (DVB, ATSC)
•C/C++ 
•Version control 
 
Personal Profile: 
•Bachelor degree (Master degree a plus and in CS/EE a plus) 
•Some embedded software experience at prestigious universities from CS/E
E department for top new graduates 
•Good software coding skills and speed 
•Good at English and willing to improve quickly 
•Team oriented 
•Flexible (priority change) 
•Organized (personal work, multi-tasking) 
•Willing to work abroad in short period of time
