Group Overview
Lab Support team responsible to design, engineer and support of Research Lab.
Roles & Responsibilities
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving of failed systems.
Documentation and optimization of processes to increase reliability of lab systems.
Applications, Tools and Scripts to optimize Support of Lab
Required Qualifications
Excellent troubleshooting, logic, reasoning, communications and problem solving skills
Strong abilities in C/C++ or C# SQL, VB, C++, COM+, HTML, javascript, ASPX, CSS.
A fundamental understanding of OS internals (namely file systems and operations), network transport protocols including HTTP, TCP, UDP, NNTP, IMAP and SOAP
Knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching Technologies a plus.
Knowledge of Windows Active Directory Domain Structure
Experience in supporting PC and web applications/technologies
Ability to configure unique hardware and software environments.
Work well under pressure, prioritize workloads and work under time constraints.
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent field
