Job Description
Join the IBM China Systems and Technology Lab as a part of the exciting IBM product field engineering team to provide expert product support for IBM enterprise storage systems hardware in the Greater China Group region (GCG includes: China Mainland, Taiwan and HongKong).

The product field engineering team, which is the highest level technical support team, provides all around leadership by resolving the most complex technical issues; working in the most challenging environments, dealing with the highest profile IBM customers and performing under heavy pressure. Not only will you be asked to work with local teams and customers in GCG, but also with IBM development labs and support teams world wide; therefore some travels both in Asia Pacific and in the United States are required.

----English is being used in daily communications; therefore good command of the English language is a requirement.
----Previous Unix administration or IT technical support experiences is a plus. Good understanding of AIX, Linux, Storage area network or pSeries servers is plus,however extensive trainings will be provided.
----The candidate must be extremely self-motivated and willing to take responsibilities.
----Must be willing to provide weekend and off normal shift support on rotation basis.

***Candidate must be computer science or electrical engineer degree or have system administration background.

From Jan to Apr, 2007
Full time or part time(at least 3 days a week) are both OK.

Education level:
Bachelor and above
