Our Business Areas
We have graduate opportunities throughout our business, in areas as diverse 
as Mergers & Acquisitions/ Equity Capital Markets, Equities, Fixed Income, 
Consumer and Commercial Banking, Structured Derivatives, Finance & 
Accounting, Risk Management and Technology. The duration of the programme 
and the location you will be based varies from 7 weeks to 10 weeks, 
depending on the specific Programme.

Summer Internship Programme  ---Hong Kong Programme & China Programme

There are two tracks for Hong Kong Program (i.e. Banking and Sales & 
Trading tracks). China Program also covers two tracks (i.e. Commercial, 
Investment Banking & Markets Track and Consumer Banking Track)

An internship gives you first-hand experience of our business and will help 
you to decide whether a career in banking, and at ABN AMRO, is right for 
you. As an intern, you will gain a real insight into our working culture 
and the dynamics of our business and will be given the opportunity to see 
whether you have the skills and potential to forge a successful career at 
ABN AMRO.

In Hong Kong, we offer penultimate-year graduates a 10 week structured 
Summer Internship Programme, while 7 weeks for China Program. The 
internships are based within specific teams in your chosen business area 
and, according to the needs of your team, you might find yourself 
conducting company research for key presentations and getting involved in 
wide range of projects. Whatever your project you will always find help, 
advice and encouragement from your line manager, your team, your "buddy" 
and "mentor" who will support you throughout the summer. 

Opening & Closing Date for Applications
The opening date and closing date for applications is 1 November 2006 and 
25 December 2006 (17.00 Beijing Time) respectively. We expect successful 
applicants to start on the programme in June/July 2007.

Your Qualities  

We are looking for highly ambitious, enthusiastic graduates.  Academically, 
you'll need a 2.1 honours degree or GPA 3.4 or above in any discipline, 
along with 300 UCAS points, or the combined (overseas) equivalents.  
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. However, personal 
qualities are just as important as qualifications.  We expect you to have 
the confidence, initiative and team spirit to build strong relationships 
with colleagues and clients, so to maximise your career development and 
personal contribution.
