Responsibilities:
Advanced Technology Center (ATC) in Beijing is teaming up with IE team to develop the next generation Internet Explorer that will transform millions of people's internet browsing experience.
We are looking for Software Design Engineer in Test (SDET) to own and drive testing of several cutting edge features in the next generation IE. You will design test cases, write test specifications, identify and development test automation, participate in design and code reviews, analyze existing tools and procedures to improve efficiency, anticipate and identify problem areas, and contribute to the test strategies for the team. Your work will be a vital and highly visible part of IE’s larger mission: delivering the most secure, most powerful, and most enjoyable browser on Earth.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, you should have solid coding skill in C/C++/C#, rock solid testing skills, demonstrate technical leadership, a track record of designing and implementing software automation tools, practical knowledge of automation strategies, approaches and methodologies, debugging ability, strong written and verbal communication skills, in-depth experience with Win32 / COM-based application development, good understanding of windowless control and text layout a big plus, in-depth understanding of HTML/XML, , scripting, and Web service. Experience with the Windows Shell, the IE platform and IE's extensibility systems is a plus. A BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required.
