Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Analysis
旵ollect and analyze spend information for a specific geographic area
旳ssist Commodity Mgr. to develop spend reduction recommendations and targets for associated savings
Strategic Sourcing Strategy Development
旵onduct supply market research and supply market analysis for a specific geographic area
旳ssist Commodity Mgr. to develop sourcing strategies
Supplier Analysis & Qualification
旾dentify potential new suppliers in respective geographic area
昍esearch new / alternative suppliers
旼ather and analyze supplier pre-qualification information
旵onduct intelligence on potential suppliers
旵reate supplier profiles
Strategic Sourcing Process Support
旵ollect data and information required for RFX documents
昄iaison with Burton finished goods factory to help source raw materials
昑ranslate RFX documents into local language
旳nalyze and summarize RFX documents in local language
旽old local 搒ell?workshops with the supplier community
旳ssist Commodity Manager with supplier negotiations and contract development
昒tilize eSourcing tools when appropriate (e.g., for reverse auctions)
昄ead cross-functional sourcing teams through the strategic sourcing process as requested by the Commodity Manager
旽elp coordinate and manage the on-boarding process for new suppliers in their geographic area
