Position: Software Design Engineer in Test Intern
On site / Off site: On site
Expected Onboard date: ASAP
Expected Project Duration: Long team, at least 6 months
Project Descriptions:
The Tools group enables Microsoft internal product development effort to efficiently collaborate with each other.
Position Requirement:
Job responsibilities include participating in spec reviews, writing and implementing comprehensive test plans, generating full-coverage test cases, designing and creating test tools, creating and owning automation suites. You will drive and own feature testing from spec to release and beyond.
Skill Required:
• Quick learner, self-starter, and detail oriented
• Strong communication skills in English
• Strong coding skills and system-level troubleshooting skills in SQL, C#, .NET, ASP, VB, or C++
• A team player
• Knowledge in product cycles, testing milestones, agile methods
• Experience in user interface and web application testing, performance testing, stress testing, as well as test automation are a plus
• Capable of seeing the big picture in architecture as well as fine details of algorithms
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science
The ideal candidate must guarantee to work onsite 4 days per week. Big project experience is preferred.
