1。Program Coordinator (OJP Ref : GC0203300)

Job Summary

Working with GPE-EA team to engage with volumn partners/ISVs(Independent Software Vendor) in PRC for pushing them to adopt Sun\'s products/technologies.

Job Description

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
-------------------------------------
- Outreach and engage the local ISV(Independent Software Vendor) community to push and
help them to use Sun\'s platform.
- Track and monitor the status/progress of projects with volume partners.
- GPE/EA website mantainance.
- Customer experience survey.
- Assist in technical/marketing event for volume partners.

Qualifications:
--------------
- Excellent communication and telephone skills in Mandarin.
- Good understanding in fundamental knowledges of software development and latest technical trends and terms of IT industry.
- Ability to influence others, dig out business opportunities by himself/herself.
- Good command of English in writing and reading.
- A bachelor degree with 2+ years working experience in similar segment.
- Experiences on telemarketing is a big plus for this postion


2.Student Intern (OJP Ref : GC0203328)

Job Summary

Act as the technical resource to effectively and efficiently deliver quality localized versions of Sun\'s core software products such as Sun\'s Linux version of Java Desktop Systems, Java Enterprise Systems, Developer\'s Studio Tools and Java (i.e. J2EE, J2SE, J2ME, etc.) for the Asian languages including simplified and traditional Chinese, Korea, Thai, etc.

Collaborate and work with Sun\'s geographically distributed teams around the world especially the ones in the US, Europe and Asian countries on both internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) development tasks by conducting the analysis, development, tests, bug fixing and technical document reviews.

. Good UNIX system administration skills, Solaris preferred.
. Experience on software internationalization and/or localization a plus
. Significant in-depth knowledge one of the following products a plus:

i) Collect, categorize and update the decentralized materials regarding Sun\'s open source technologies (OpenSolaris, OpenSparc NetBeans...), and relative academic programs (SAI, Campus Ambassador, EduConnection, StudentConnection...);

ii) Develop the on-line content of , and ensure it to be concurrent, well-organized and shown nicely;

iii) Help with OpenTech related activities, e.g. coordinate on-line community activities and develop surveys, brochures, posters, DVDs, etc.

Job Description

We are looking for someone with a strong sense of responsibilities, good English skills and good problem solving skills. 

This position will be mainly responsible for the manual execution for Solaris Install/Upgrade testing. He/she will
- carry out end-to-end execution as assigned by the test lead 
- write up test status report
- triage and do root cause analysis for issues encountered during the test
- write complete and accurate bug report 
- look for opportunities in test approach enhancement

Requirements:
- Can understand UNIX shell scripts, C, Perl, CGI programs. Be able to write simple programs using the above languages.   
- knowledge in PHP, mysql is a plus
- Be available for 20 - 30 hours per week.
