Purpose of the Job:
To ensure the satisfaction of major end users of BOCE equipment in China, by supporting product commissioning, providing customer training on correct operation, maintenance and overhaul procedures, and ensuring technical evaluations of new products or improvements are successful.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:
-A mechanical or electromechanical engineering background, with formal qualifications to degree level an advantage.
-Ability to read and use engineering drawings, and to sketch engineering requirements.
-Practical in nature with good troubleshooting skills, able to appreciate application or product issues and their influences
-Good command of English, both written and oral.
-Sufficient PC skills to prepare concise reports and run presentations.
-Flexible, willing to travel all over China frequently.
-Commercially aware and of smart appearance, will often visit customers alone.
Principal Accountabilities:
-Visit each account regularly to build up strong relationships and demonstrate BOCE support.
-Ensure all BOCE pumps and equipment are installed and commissioned correctly, and that equipment is working to specification.
-Provide training to customers on correct preventive maintenance procedures to ensure equipment is maintained in correct working order.
-Arrange and carry out training courses for customer staff on major overhaul of BOCE equipment, ensuring that correct tooling, procedures, test equipment and spare parts are used.
-Provide clear reports to local and overseas staff, to allow accurate assistance in resolving technical issues.
-Implement recommended technical solutions to achieve desired improvements, thereby reducing commercial risks to BOCE.
