A new company needs a Manufacturing Assistant. The right person will be motivated, communicate confidently and be able to demonstrate being resourceful. There are 2 main areas that the person will manage; project manufacturing management, sourcing/research.

Responsibilities:
Managing and reporting various tasks and projects.
Build and maintain relationships with current manufacturers and suppliers
Manufacturer and supplier visit and evaluation
Trade show visits and evaluation
Reporting & communicating information between company and manufacturers/suppliers in Chinese and English
Developing and streamlining quoting and sourcing processes

Good knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet explorer
Basic knowledge of an engineering package such as: Autocad, Rhino, Pro.E or Solid Works
Basic knowledge of Corel Draw or Illustrator, Photoshop or similar programs

Fluent Written and Oral Chinese
Excellent Written and Oral English (Minimum CETS 6)

Experience:
A basic understanding of manufacturing methods such as injection molding, plastics tooling, stamping, die casting etc
Must be able to read and create basic engineering drawings
Experience in researching/sourcing/ or generally able to demonstrate initiative
