1、office administrator
Mirkin Group, a Beijing newly based IT startup, is building out its team to position itself within three major regions: China, U.S., and Russia. The company is lead by a Russian-American young entrepreneur with partners in Silicon Valley & Moscow.

You are an intelligent, self-driven person with a “get your hands dirty” spirit in everything you do. You are generally passionate about working at different roles and are motivated to excel in them.


Responsibilities

This is a critical role that will pull together HR, purchasing, research, and other related duties.

• Finding new potential job candidates
• Establish initial contacts with companies & universities through cold calls, emails, and person to person meetings
• Purchasing equipment, office supplies, etc...
• Translate Chinese to English, English to Chinese – both spoken and written

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication skills – both English and Chinese
• Good spoken English skills
• Some previous experience preferred, especially in sales or administration of some sort

2、Marketing
You are an intelligent, self-driven person with a passion for success and a desire to learn. You are looking for junior to mid-level marketing position, and although persistent in your execution abilities, you must be able to adopt to sudden strategy changes within the company.


Responsibilities

This is a critical role that will pull together sales, marketing communications and engineering to form a coherent company image.

• Research and analyze different products & industries - ranging from networking equipment to ISPs & WiMax deployment (this may include making cold calls, attending conferences, and establishing contacts within leading universities)
• Write daily reviews & articles related to previous research
• Provide designs for network of corporate web sites
• Develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns
• Explore pricing and service bundling options

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication skills – both English and Chinese (especially Chinese)
• Ability to work (listen & speak) in an English spoken environment
• Preferably with sales or technical background
• Some designing & web developing skills are beneficial
• B.S. Degree or ability to show previous experience in the field

3、web developer
You are an intelligent, self-driven person with a passion for success and a desire to learn. You are looking for a technical “do-it-all” web developer position in a small startup with dynamic free culture.


Responsibilities

This is a critical role that will be solely responsible for the development, deployment, & maintenance of all corporate & consumer web sites.

• Develop web sites according to provided designs
• Ensure scalability and portability of each individual project
• Develop small software/web tools & utilities as the need arises
• Initially maintain care of servers

Qualifications

• Good Chinese and passable English skills
• B.S. Degree or previous working experience
• Able to show self-made projects

Technical Skills

HTLM/DHTML, CSS, DOM, java script, SQL (mysql 3.1+); LAMP (Apache, *nix, PHP) or Java related technologies (i.e. JSP, Java Servlets, JDBC, Resin/Tomcat), some shell scripting, good command knowledge of one of 3 shells: C, born, korn;
