Title: Wireless Solution Engineer (R&D)

Responsibilities:
CDMA terminal device test software development:
Automation software for device driver verification
Signaling conformance test module development
Performance test module development
CDMA2000/WCDMA application test software development
Integration of test equipments to generate new test capabilities
Device driver and software building blocks development
Test modules and scripts development

Qualifications/Requirements:
General:
Can work proactively and effectively with people from different culture.
Quick learner – grasps different technologies in short time and applies to job productively.
Be willing to, and capable to adapt to different projects – quickly and efficiently
Communicate effectively with other team/team members, in both local and remote fashion.

Education:
College background in EE/CS/Communications
Master degree with minimal 2 years working experience in telecommunications industry, or bachelor degree with minimal 5 years working experience in telecommunications industry.
Technical background:
Basic concepts of Modern communication system
Knowledge on one or more of the following system: GSM/WCDMA/TD-SCDMA/IS-95/CDMA2000, on the following aspects:
Network architecture
Basic signaling protocols and process
Terminal device structure
Basic knowledge on software engineering

Experience/Skills:
R&D experience on communication systems, especially on 3G wireless technologies
Proficient in at least one OO programming languages, such as C++/C#/…
Strong trouble-shooting experience and capability in software development
Experience with T&M lab instruments is a plus
Experience with embedded HW/SW development is a plus
Language:
Must have good English communication ability, both in written and spoken.
Proficient in reading English technical documents, such as protocol spec and design documents.
Proficient in writing technical materials (emails & documents…) in English.

And the additional requirements are as follows:

1. We are recruiting development engineer, not testing engineer.

2. We hope applicants could start full-time intern from the end of Feb.

3. We could not get BJ HuKou.

4. If the candidate has strong computer scicense background, i.e., OO programming, we do not demand deep understanding of wireless communication.
