The Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) is an official student organization at Harvard College offering a sustained academic program and a forum of exchange to facilitate discussion of the most important issues relevant to the Asia-Pacific region.

About HCOC 2007
HPAIR 2007 is to be held this August in Beijing, and as two most famous universities, Tsinghua and Peking University will play essential roles throughout the conference in 2007. The HPAIR Organizing Committee is pleased to team with the Host Country Organizing Committee (HCOC) Beijing, consisting of students from Tsinghua University and Peking University. We are currently recruiting students from Tsinghua University to join our HCOC team to assist in the organizing process.

The possible functions of HCOC may include, but not limit to, the following:
- Workshop Associates - Assisting workshop leaders of Harvard University in workshop preparation and operation. There is a list of workshops at: ww***org[点击查看]
- Fundraising - This will be under the direction of the HPAIR finance team.
- Public Relations - Key speakers invitation and communication; Coordinating of advertising and the media
- International Night Planning - A traditional and most exciting part of HPAIR where participants set up booths to present their own countries
- Pre-Conference Tours of Beijing – Organizing a planned trip for delegates around Beijing.

About the recruitment criteria
1. Time commitment (Able to work contingently from January to August 2007)
2. Passion and willingness to take responsibility and act actively
3. Fluent in English
4. Relevant Experience in international conference preferred but not necessary.
