The Asia Sourcing and Design Center (ASDC) of Trane was launched in Shanghai on February 16, 2004 with investment of US$ 1.5 million.

The ASDC in Shanghai is the third global Research and Development Center of Trane Commercial Systems, with the other two in France and the United States. It concentrates on commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning products sold under the Trane Brand. In addition to developing products for the China market, the center also qualifies Chinese manufacturers as suppliers of materials and component parts for use within the production processes at American Standard Companies' manufacturing facilities around the world.

The founding of the ASDC opens a new page of Trane's cooperation with China. It represents that Trane, is no longer just an American company manufacturing in China, but also a truly Chinese manufacturer

1. Embedded software Engineer

Job Description:
Develop embedded control software for HVAC equipment and systems.

· Design and code real-time software for electronic controls to meet quality and functional requirements.

· Integrate software with hardware--test and verify product functionality.

· Document software design from system level to detail level.

· Work as a member of a development team with project, software, hardware, and algorithm engineers to meet overall project goals.

· Maintain, upgrade, and enhance production software.

· Help advance software development tools, technology, and processes within Control Systems.

· Follow departmental software development procedures.

· Generate software development schedules, report on progress, and meet schedule goals.

Education and Experience Requirements:

· Excellent verbal and written English skills

· Master’s degree or above in electrical/computer/software engineering or equivalent required

· Solid C/C++ and Object-Oriented Software design experience required.

· Experience with UML development tools, such as I-Logix Rhapsody, preferred.

· HVAC equipment and system knowledge a plus

· Results oriented and self-starter

· Strong team player

2. Electronic Engineer

· Job Responsibility

· Electronic design, development and test of hardware for HVAC equipment controls

· Design and test analog, digital logic, microcomputer, and power circuits

· Coordinate development with suppliers of design services, components, fabrication, and assembly to support production

· Develop electronic hardware architecture, specifications, drawings and documentation to support design and production

· Job Requirement

· BSEE or MSEE

· Excellent verbal and written English skill

· 1-5+ years electronic design/development experience on MCU-based hardware from concept through production.

· Familiar with PCAD preferred

· Assembly manufacturing and test support experience, and Electronic qualification test experience

· Experience with HVAC control knowledge are preferred

· Problem assessment and problem solving skills

· Results oriented and self-starter

· Strong team player
