职位描述/要求：
Position: GDS Lab Lead
Job Description
1. Provide complete leadership thought to manage the Lab with 50+ team consisting of PhDs and Masters in
various quantitative discipline 2. Provide coaching and mentoring to existing and new team members on technical skills as well as on product
knowledge within the financial services industry 3. Lead team so as to “raise the bar” across the Lab, while ensuring delivery on existing and new project
commitments 4. Develop managerial talent pool among junior team members and execute on a succession planning process
5. Actively direct recruitment, while improving recruitment process, of the Lab’s new hire including hiring
from universities across the world, through recruiters and from other existing and new sources 6. Lead retention efforts ensuring staff retention stays at a high rate
7. Exercise complete administrative accountability for managing a budget while planning, controlling and
assuming responsibility towards costs at the Lab 8. Actively participate in shifting direction of regions towards funding local hiring
9. Manage relationships with talent recruitment and management agencies including sourcing
10. Manage and drive facilities changing needs by coordinating with China Technology Center’s leaders
including HR, Facilities 11. Actively participate within CTC leadership team to drive and deliver GDS Lab’s needs
12. Provide leadership, as needed, to fulfill project responsibilities for various countries in the context of building
statistical models, performing segmentation analyses and providing project vision and execution 13. Identify and initiate selection of new and emerging tools and technologies to improve the quality and
productivity of statistical and other applications at the Lab. Requirements
1. Technical leadership, expert knowledge of SAS, statistical applications, emerging technologies
2. Business management and operational skills to run a Lab
3. Solid knowledge of the financial services industry
4. Skills to anticipate emerging issues, and provide proactive speed of execution to solve for such issues
5. Strong on integrity, boundary-less, leadership thought
