Cisco networking basics (router and switch configuration and operation)
General knowledge of network circuits (including connection types, equipment used and trouble reporting processes)
Strong fundamentals with network monitoring and analysis tools including up/down status, bandwidth utilization and latency trends, etc.
Strong understanding of IP addressing including management of internal (private addressing) as well as working with regional IP Management organizations for public addressing.
Non-Technical Skills
Good English reading, writing and verbal communication skills。Good telephone skills。Able to work remotely。 Enjoys working in a team environment。Quickly learn new concepts。Familiar with the Cisco TAC trouble reporting systems。Meticulous with documentation, updating trouble tickets and follow up on work requests.
Education
Minimum educational requirement is a bachelor of Computer Science or related background.
Preference to candidates with CCNP
Preference to candidates with Cisco VoIP CCVP

Summary
Part of a global team supporting IT infrastructure
Under general direction, provide production support for a large Local and Wide Area Network environment
Access and troubleshoot network equipment, analyze using network monitoring tools and report/track the troubleshooting effort.
Job Requirements
Round-the-clock, global operation 7 days x 24 hours
Need to carry company-provided cell phone and/or pager on a rotational basis for providing support during non-business hours
May require working non-business hours for the initial training period
