职位描述：
BASIC FUNCTION
Under the supervision of the Lead Designer, he will create and develop innovative concepts, products, experiences, services and human interfaces through the mastery of the design process within the New Product Development community.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Work as a team with the other designers in the creation of new product, following the project since the beginning until is achievement.
2.Learn about the development process of new product and the Design process.
3.Understand the consumer, especially in the bathroom and kitchen environments, so that functional aspects can be considered along with aesthetic needs and cost objectives.
4.Ensure that there is a high level of design within all of the details throughout the product.
5.Participate in accomplishing the day-to-day activities of the Industrial Design department.
Major tasks
1.Work very closely with all new product development departments, including Engineering, Marketing, Purchasing and Manufacturing, in a team atmosphere to achieve new products designs.
2.Participate in new product development activities which include generation of new product concepts.
3.Determine appropriate approaches to concept development by executing design research, product concept drawings, physical modeling and product presentations.
4.Continuously explore and develop new methods of model making and presentation techniques as appropriate to cost and timing factors.
5.Maintain current awareness of consumer and competitor product offerings including product trends in both the Asian and in all foreign markets.
6.Develop and maintain familiarity with Kohler's core materials and processes as well as other plumbing industry capabilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1.Bachelor's degree from accredited school of industrial design with academic emphasis on product design with experience in interior design, architecture, furniture, lighting or other related field.
2.Good English reading, speaking and understanding.
3.Familiar with 3D software as 3DS Max, Rhino... and in particular Alias Studio.
4.Familiar with graphics software as Photoshop, Illustrator...
5.Familiar with all the common software as Outlook, Words, PowerPoint, Excel...
