Job description
The person will be primarily responsible for technical service support - both new component development and maintenance; Communications with foreign customers.
Responsible for creating and maintaining all component libraries related to the corporate supported electronic design tool set.
Includes the creation of graphical symbols and physical geometry data for component footprints. Participate in client communications, in understanding complex elements of a client's business and applying experience. Work independently. Responsible to the customer, project manager and/or program manager for successful delivery of the component and services, as per the project scope and contracts.
Qualifications
Your Profile
-BS degree and above in a mechanical or electronic design technology related area.
-Familiar with PCB design processes and component library building block techniques
-Must be able to interpret specification drawings and calculate dimensions for PCB CAD component footprint model definitions.
Involves support to projects, designers and manufacturing teams involved with PCA component definitions
-Development and final production release into a master library.
-Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and a good understanding of electronics and computer terms. Able to provide timely response to user requests and be highly customer and team oriented.
-Experience with using the Cadence Allegro PCB CAD application would be beneficial.
-Experience with using computers in a Windows NT environment.
-Good analytical, problem solving, and trouble shoot skill.
-Able to independently applying technical knowledge and experience.
-Excellent communication and documentation skill.
-Willing to take challenges and work under pressure
-Good command of English
