General Purpose Technical specialist in application development and configuration, IT platforms management and development, installation and maintenance, system analysis and design. Main Responsibility Areas - owns the configuration documentation. - responsible for configuration development, quality and solution road mapping. - together with Service Manager defines the configuration entity that configuration owner is responsible for. - assists in incident resolution and maintenance releases. - participates in Create projects to gain configuration knowledge. Scope Individual Contributor: Variety of complex tasks within areas of responsibility. Demonstrates initiative & contributes to problem solving. Acts with independence & discretion in routine matters. Acts with independence and discretion in routine matters. Makes decisions that affect own work. Network Own project team members, Project customers, Colleagues in other projects on one's technology area, Contacts in different parts of the IT organization, external vendors.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- strong foundation knowledge of the internet, web-based applications and their concept- strong foundation knowledge of use-case modeling, UML, version ocntrol, CR/Issue management - strong knowledge of configurating Siebel (incl Analytics), web servers, application servers and enterprise databases - strong knowledge of Symbian and mobile technologies - ability to maintain effective relationships towards internal associates and 3rd parties - knowledge of Service sub-processes including configuration management process - knowledge of service related technology trends - fluent in English and Chinese
