职位描述：
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a strong EHS culture driving safety and team ownership in a manufacturing environment. Create an injury free work environment through maintenance of a behaviour based safety process with high employee involvement
- Health Safety environment & regulatory affairs in China.
- Development of a close working relationship with sales organization.
- Maintain S&OP meeting with sales team.
- Align China Commercial targets and goals to supply chain strategies including localisation; low cost high quality products and fulfilment by assuming overall responsibility for all aspects of China Supply Chain including
-Chemical manufacturing and fulfilment;
-Consumables ( filters; membranes; cartridges) fulfilment; including capacity expansion program
-equipment manufacturing and distribution capability in China
- work with the sourcing team to lead the identification and evaluation of potential local partners for expansion of local production capabilities.
- Estimate & implement an organizational structure that best supports the China supply chain and plant goals & measurements and ensure proper resource allocation for personnel to accomplish business objectives
- Effectively utilize WuXi plant assets by maximizing plant reliability and capacity.
- Development of yearly capital budgets
- Develop annual operating budgets and ensure that spending is controlled within budget amounts.
- Direct the approval and acquisition of new equipment to improve cost position and product quality
- Provide a positive image of facility in the community through volunteer activities, open houses, or community advisory panels;
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor Degree with Supply Chain major or Chemical engineering
- MBA would be highly regarded or desirable;
- Previous experience with supply chain leader or plant manager is preferred

GE started doing business in China as early as 1906 and was considered one of the most active foreign companies in the country at the time. In 1908, the first GE light plant was built in Shenyang. GE acquired Anderson, Meyer & Co. in 1934 and started to provide installation and repair services of imported electric equipment in China. GE resumed trade with People’s Republic of China in 1979. It opened GE Hangwei Medical Systems Co., Ltd in Beijing, which is its first joint venture in China in 1991.
