Our 10 week Summer Intern Programme offers the opportunity to gain a valuable insight into the workings of global financial markets while developing on-the job practical experience in a world-class workplace. You will complete a comprehensive induction programme, be fully integrated into a core business area and make a valuable contribution to real transactions. This opportunity will help you decide where your future career interests lie.

 

Successful candidates will be assigned to a specific area of Corporate, Investment Banking and Markets. Although you'll be fully integrated into one team, we’ll also help you understand how all areas within Corporate, Investment Banking and Markets operate.

 

As well as the structured intern training programme, performance reviews will give you constructive feedback; while a busy calendar of workshops and social events will allow you to share your experiences with other interns. Throughout, you will have the support of your line manager and a buddy- a recent recruit who understands how critical it is to make the right choice of career.

 

Participating business areas:

·         Corporate Banking

·         Global Markets (Sales, Trading and Structuring)

·         Global Capital Markets

·         Investment Banking

 

Application Procedure

·         Undergraduates currently in penultimate year of study

·         BA/BS, all majors are considered.  Undergraduate degree: Minimum 3.2 Cumulative Overall GPA/2:1 honours degree.

·         Appropriate eligibility and authorization to work in HK during summer 2007.

·         A demonstrated interest in global finance.

·         A willingness to commit to the full 10 week program (including social events) June – August
