Sun Microsystems is seeking an experienced manager to work with world-class software developers to enhance an industry-leading operating system, Solaris. As part of the core networking team, the manager is responsible to deliver against key initiatives, partner with colleagues and customers to validate and enhance our strategy. The eight-engineer team is located in Beijing, PRC.
The successful candidate will have at least two years of experience in directly managing software developers, including:
- hiring top engineers and coaching them to peak performance;
- preparing and delivering performance reviews;
- establishing project requirements from customer needs data; and
- managing delivery of new software functionality on time and on budget.
The person will also have demonstrated ability to think beyond accepted boundaries, and the managerial courage to advance those new ideas.

1. Ensure all global contracts transactional and coordination tasks such as quoting, booking, amendment and renewal are performed in accordance with the global service contract SLA and the local contract administration SLA\'s.

3. To coordinate enquiries, collect and clarify information related to global contracts.
