Software internship

 

Applicants should have an interest in web development and some experience with
:

-Data mining/warehousing

-graph visualization/query languages

 

This paid position is suitable for advanced undergraduate or graduate students
. Applicants should enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team and be able 
to function with minimal direction.

 

Required Skills

-Very proficient in English (written and spoken)

-Fluent in Java

-Knowledge of HTML/CSS+XML+JavaScript

-Bonus Points

-ActionScript

-Ruby (or Python)

-Functional programming (Haskell/OCaml, Lisp/Scheme)

-Web Services (Servlets, Hibernate, AJAX, RSS, REST)

-Databases (SQL, OLAP)

-Graph Theory + Statistics

-Graphics Programming

-Sense of humor
