Officer, Back Office Support Desk
Location: 	Shanghai

Purpose & general responsibilities of the position: 
Provide user and operational support to WND

requirements for the position:

- Knowledge and experience on EDI standards eg., XML, X.12  and communication 
eg., FTP, AS2
- Experience and klnowledge on database (eg., Oracle, MS SQL, …)
- Knowledge and expeience on VB Programming
- MS Windows or IBM AIX experience
- WND business and operation knowledge added advantage
- Logistics business and operation knowledge added advantage
- Knowledge and experience on WMS4000 added advantage
- Able to Communicate with internal and/or external project team members.
- Able to work independently towards specific tasks and/or deliverables based 
on 

specifications.
- Communication in English and Mandarin
- Diploma or equivalent in IT or related discipline

Officer/Senior Officer of Barcode Scanning Project
Location: 	Shanghai

Purpose & general responsibilities of the position: 
1.	Deliver Barcode Scanning solutions to Asia countries using agreed framework
 and methodology.
2.	Provide system consultancy, IT project management, solution implementation 
services for Barcode Scanning solutions. 
3.	Barcode services include barcode scanning, scan and pack, label printing fo
r related business units in Asia.
4.	Usage of Project Framework (Global IS V-model and Microsoft Solution Framew
ork) best practices in all projects, and use the agreed project priority mecha
nism.
5.	Coordinate with various IS partners such as CENSYSLOGWND, ASIEDI, GCAISPRJ/
DEV and NAMLOGSYS in delivering BAR solution TIMELY – Drive shortest time to 
market project implementation.
6.	Barcode Scanning equipment vendor management.
7.	Keep abreast of barcode scanning technology and knowledge.

Specific requirements for the position:
1.	Knowledge of Maersk Logistics systems and processes
2.	Knowledge of Maersk Logistics WND/BAR businesses, clients and operation pro
cesses
3.	Good analytical skills and ability to grasp complex problems and providing 
innovative solutions
4.	Negotiation and communication skills
5.	Proficient in spoken and written English 
6.	Knowledge of the Global organisation not limited to CENSYSLOGWND and Area o
rganisations.
7.	Project management skills
8.	Training/Presentation experience

Officer, ASISYSWND Development
Location: 	Shanghai

Purpose & general responsibilities of the position: 
1.	Provide development on WND implementation in area of interfacing and report
ing.
2.	Support the implementation and improvement of WMS4000 system in Asia area.

3.	Use Project Framework (Global IS V-model and Microsoft Solution Framework) 
best practices in all development projects.
4.	Assist in driving the development of EDI mapping and route setting.
5.	Co-ordinate/exchange relevant information with other Maersk Logistics entit
ies.
6.	Show Constant Care through taking timely and necessary corrective action wi
thin area of responsibility as required 

Specific requirements for the position:
1.	Degree in IT or related discipline
2.	Knowledge and experience on EDI standards eg., XML, X12 and communication e
g., FTP, AS2, VAN…
3.	1+ year EDI mapping knowledge and experience
4.	1+ year VB Programming knowledge/experience and Crystal Report
5.	1+ experience and knowledge on database (eg., Oracle, MS SQL, …)
6.	Preferred with logistics business and operation knowledge
7.	Preferred with WMS (eg., MK, Exceed, …) knowledge
8.	Able to work independently towards specific tasks based on specifications.

9.	Self-motivated, dedicated, team player and good communicator
10.	Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
