Division Introduction

The Open Source Technology Center (OTC) team is an organization under Software

 and Solution Group(SSG) of Intel Asia-pacific Research & Development Ltd. Our

 mission is enabling Linux software system on Ultra Mobile Device based on Low

 Power Intel Architecture. We'd like to hire interns to join us to develop and

 validate the software for the Linux System on the Ultra Mobile Device.

Title

         Linux System and Device Driver Software Intern

Responsibilities

         The intern is responsible for developing Linux system and device 
drivers. Optimize LINUX system structure and driver for ultra mobile device,
Discover UMD new usage model. 
 

Qualifications

 Linux driver programming skill is required.

 Programming skill of C, ASM of Intel Architecutre is required.

 Programming skill of script language, like BASHPerlPython, is preferred.

 Knowledge of software engineer and quality assurance is preferred.

 Good problem analysis and problem solving skills, ability to work independent
ly

 Be familiar with traditional GNU tools, such as vi(m), find, grep , tar,gzip,
 gunzip, etc.

 Fluent English communication skill is preferred.

 Major in CS/EE is preferred.

 0.5 year internship duration is required, while 1 year internship duration is
 preferred.
