职位描述：
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Proficient in both written and verbal English language.
Ability to drive technical issues to solution
Sense of urgency, customer focus
Ability to work within large team structure, take business direction from team lead
Must be available to work 1st, 2nd,or 3rd shift schedule according to workload requirements
Participate in oncall 24x7 rotation
Must carry a cell phone or pager
Follow defined customer change and problem management process
Must be able to participate in formal project structure
Perform database space management and monitoring.
Implement requirements for database backup and recovery requirements.
Perform database reorgs, statistics and other applicable utilities to ensure proper
Database function and performance.
Assist in database performance tuning.
Perform problem determination and resolution.
Prepare change requests to migrate new and/or changed database objects into production.
Create and maintain database structures.
Migrate and install new/changed database objects to the database environment.
Assist with migration and/or load of application data into the database environment.
Maintain and implement database security changes based on customer requirements.
Perform database server space management and monitoring.
Define, plan, develop and test database server backup and recovery based on requirements.
Perform database server tuning
Ability to perform DBMS upgrades to newer release levels
Install and maintain server and client software; manage connectivity issues
