Software Engineer - Intern

Job Type: Student Intern
Job Location: Tsinghua Science Park, Beijing, China

Job Summary
-----------
Intern position, ideally for >6 months (>=3*8 hours/week)

The successful candidate will work with Solaris video/audio/console
team on prototyping, designing, specifying and implementing innovative
software features as part of the Solaris Core Technology group.

Job Description
---------------
Preferred technical skills:
- C, Shell scripting
- Experience with Solaris, Linux or other Unix variants
- Good understanding of OS concepts and experienced with Unix/Linux,
having Solaris experiences will be a good plus

Additional requirements:
- Strong problem solving skills
- Familiar with software development processes and best practices
- Proficient in both conversational and written English
- Good communication skills and ability to work remotely
- Ability to work independently
- Basic project management skills
