Job Description 
Specifies, design, and implements platform-independent, complex software syste
m components and libraries for new products or enhancing existing products. 
Uses SQL programming, Java programming (including data structures), debugging 
tools, and software management utilities and tools for use in a mix of Unix an
d Windows environments. 
Works independently and with a team requiring strong technical judgment to exe
cute complex development assignments. Designs, implements, documents and maint
ains complex systems and applications programming interfaces. 

Education and Related Experience 
A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of knowled
ge and with 2-4 years of software development experience or equivalent combina
tion of education and relevant work experience is required. 
Two or more years experience with Unix, Windows, RDBMS,and object-oriented des
ign (i.e., C/C++/Java) are required. Two or more years experience with globali
zation and one year Unicode experience are a must. Knowledge of a second langu
age is a plus. 
Prior experience and strong background in one or more of the following areas: 
Eclipse, SWT, GEF, EMF, Java SWING/AWT GUI technologies and tool or graphical 
user interface (GUI) development is highly desired.
