Ostrakon Ltd is a German-British company which supports the academic sector
with reliable technical solutions. The experienced Ostrakon team has been
actively working together with numerous academic institutions since 1997, as
a consultant and service provider. Not only do we understand the
requirements of a university, but also we care about teaching and research. Th
e
office in Shanghai was opened in August 2006 and Ostrakon is now looking for
talented programmers for a quick expansion.

As a Web Application Developer at Ostrakon Ltd, you will work with a
European-Chinese team to develop projects that have a direct impact on the
academic world. You will be gaining experience in a wide range of topics and
technologies, working with modern frameworks and user interaction concepts.
The topics span from machine learning methods in medical imaging to
improving the quality of teaching with learning management and online
lecture evaluation.

   * Experience with complex J2EE based applications, ideally also with
AJAX
   * Ability to perform high-level analysis and to think logically through
solutions
   * Very good English communication skills (verbal and written)
   * Ability to work in teams in international dynamic work environment
   * Good organizational skills
