你的一天

What's it all about:
You are proud of China's long history, diverse culture and the beauty of Chinese language as a medium to convey your idea. You also respect and always want to learn other culture and want to teach Chinese culture to them. It hurts to see a poorly translated games, movies and books. Chinese people deserve to have a better quality translation. When you read a book translated from English, you can not help but signing thinking of better ways to translate them. You can freely communicate in both Chinese and English.
A typical day
It is a busy day. New milestone for the project is upcoming and there are piles of design documents on your desk. You start to read the design document and find out a lot of new monster names, new names of regions and so on. You open up e-mail client and send an e-mail to the main story writer in US asking what he was envisioning with all the names. He will answer in a day explaining the background of each name so as for you to come up with cool name in Chinese. You also added a few suggestions to make it a better story. Now you go to the kitchen area to cool down your brain with a glass of coke. Office manager sees you in the kitchen and her face brightens up. You mutters to yourself, "Uh oh...". Yes, she has a request for you. She wants you to translate the new contract she was working on into English. You tell her that you will look into it in the afternoon after you update the glossary files for the game.

What you've done before:
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Excellent writer in Chinese
Professional experience as a translator
Loves Fantasy and Sci-fi
Passion for games and MMOs
Good at Office and other productivity tools
Experience in translating legal and/or business document in a plus
Experience in game or movie industry is a plus
Knowledge in game localization process is a plus
