Risk Analyst – GE Money Asia Region Analytics Center

The Risk Analyst position could be a key entry point for future analytics and/
or business leaders within GE Money.  This position is located at newly establ
ished Shanghai GE Money Asia Region Risk Analytics Center, which is built to s
upport GE Money Asia region analytical needs. At this position, you will have 
the opportunity to learn about and utilize the fundamentals of risk management
 analytics through participation in various assignments. Exposure could includ
e statistical modeling and scorecard building, and portfolio strategy developm
ent and analysis.  Your successful performance in this position could lead to 
other challenging career opportunities within GE Money, including yet to be li
mited to analytics manager, risk leadership program, business risk manager, et
c.

Requirement: 
•	Minimum BS degree (Master degree is preferred) in disciplines with str
ong quantitative background, e.g. Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mat
hematics, Physics, Natural Sciences, Economics, Management Science, and Engine
ering.
•	Excellent communication skills including fluent English and ability to
 organizing thoughts and articulate them.
•	Strong analytical aptitudes including broad skills in data manipulatio
n, in-depth statistics knowledge in the area such as multivariate and discrimi
nate analysis, CHAID, multiple and logistic regression, factor analysis and cl
ustering, etc.
•	Motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, professional and willing to wor
k hard.
•	Be able to take international traveling and assignments.

Responsibilities:
•	Provide analytics supports to GE Money Asia region markets/businesses,
 including but not limited to:
•	Use statistical tools to identify drivers of growth, losses, profitabi
lity of consumer portfolios (e.g. credit card, mortgage, auto loan), and to hi
ghlight business issues and opportunities.
•	Participate in developing scorecards/statistical models, strategies to
 facilitate businesses.
•	Participate in developing new modeling methodology and performing regu
lar diagnostics to assess model performance.
•	Collaborate with Asia region market’s risk and business teams to tran
slate business problems into statistical ones, build and manage projects to ut
ilize statistical tools to develop and implement actionable business solutions
