Global-X recruiting Intern with Background in Medical Devices and/or Generic M
edicines (Feb. 2007) 
 
Global-X is a German company providing professional technical business and man
agement consulting services on R&D, Project Management, Technical and general 
Business Processes, Quality and Logistic Management to international and local
 companies in the industries of telecom, wireless, automation, automotive, ele
ctronic and mechanical products. Based on our international business network w
e do as well projects in trading and sourcing, also beyond the industries ment
ioned above.  
 
Established in January 2005, we now have 2 locations respectively in Germany a
nd Hong Kong. An office in Shanghai will be opened in 2007. 
 
We are looking for an intern (f/m) who will work at his/her home. Coming to us
 once or twice per week upon request would be necessary for picking up tasks o
r doing some supporting tasks, etc. Coming in the weekend is acceptable as wel
l.  
 
Major responsibilities are:  
	• Data research on China medical industry including equipment, devices 
and medicines, using internet, journals, publications, databases, etc. 
	• Assistance to German doctors, pharmacists and engineers for projects 
in China. Some traveling would be necessary. - 
	• Technical and basic translation (English/Chinese and Chinese/English;
 German would be beneficial, but is not mandatory) 
	• Other supporting tasks within the context of the responsibilities des
cribed above. 

  
A Successful applicant shall have skills, capabilities and personalities on 

	• Background in Medical Devices and/or Generic Medicine, 
	• Fluent in speaking and writing: English and Chinese (Mandarin), 
	• Good command of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power-Point, Outlook),  
	• Good people skills, good communicator, self motivated, 
	• Likes challenges rather than problems,  
	• Willing to learn, 
	• Honest and would like to take responsibility 

 
Further requirements are  
	• PC Pentium IV (Laptop/Notebook would be beneficial) 
	• Broadband Internet / Telephone / Cellular Phone  

The daily rate is RMB 80.- based on 8h workday and business related cost will 
be reimbursed; plus, more benefits for him/her are office working experiences 
in an international company, acquiring professional working skills and a refer
ence letter according to his/her performance. After having setup our represent
ative office we plan to recruit by mid of 2007 a specialist for medical device
s and generic drugs. A successful intern would be the ideal candidate for this
