IBM CSTL is opening full-time regular positions for Microcode team.

Role: Microcode Developer

Job Responsibilities include the Design, Development, Test, Release and Suppor
t of High Quality Microcode for DS8000 and next generation Storage Systems.

Job requirements:

Bachelor of Science Degree (minimum) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science
or Electrical Engineering.

Skill level (5 is the strongest, and 1 the weakest)

5 Expert in Design, Development, Test, Release, and Support of Code in a Real
Time Operating System.
4 Highly skilled in the C Programming Language
4 English Language Proficiency (Advanced or Fluent)
4 Team work
4 Analysis and Debug of Code and Hardware
3 Test (Unit Test, HMI Test, Formal Test)
3 Device Driver Design, Development and Implementation
3 AIX/UNIX knowledge
3 Self motivated individual who loves to work in a high paced, challenging env
ironment.
