FUNCTIONAL WORK AREA : Engineering/ Product Development

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Propose and conduct research in next generation medical X-ray system technologies;
Be responsible for connecting with global team, end users and external clinic research for technology development;
Develop prototype X-ray systems for evaluation including concept design, simulation, algorithm development, system build and testing;
Be responsible for program execution, conduct critical program reviews and technical deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

PhD in medical physics, biomedical imaging or other subject with medical imaging background;
Experience in medical imaging especially x-ray imaging with strong knowladge and practical skill on X-ray physics, imaging chain analysis and imaging quality analysis;
Strong competence in complex system design techniques including simulation, design, prototype development and testing;
Knowledge in imaging performance measurements and modeling;
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English;
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, global team and customers, good presentation skills.
